2027 Multifaith Calendar - Moments of Hope
Proudly celebrating its 41st consecutive year of publication, our 2027 Multifaith Calendar's theme is ‘Moments of Hope'
Published annually by the Multifaith Action Society (MAS), the Multifaith Calendar (MFC) is a unique educational resource that facilitates understanding of religious occasions and festivals integral to a wide spectrum of cultural and faith communities.
The 12-month, full-sized wall Multifaith Calendar offers insight into the world's major faiths - a window that gives not only accurate information on each of the major holidays and festivals, including their dates and significance, but detailed historical information of these faiths and their relationship to time – giving us a better understanding of many varied cultures.
The MFC is also a carefully selected collection of art work. Each year a theme is chosen and artists from across North America as well as Internationally submit art for consideration. We are proud to say that these images are original works from a wide variety of visual artists.
Moments of Hope...
The world’s many mounting challenges include drastic climate change, war and conflict, widening inequality, and intensifying natural disasters. Yet even amidst the darkness, glimmers of hope remain, reminding us of the potential for a brighter, more connected future.
What are the moments of hope that help bring this future into focus, and leave you feeling renewed, refreshed, and ready to grapple with the challenges of our time? It may be as simple as the peaceful view of ducks on a pond, or the sun’s rays breaking dramatically through the clouds. Perhaps it is a trailblazing young leader at the forefront of a new social movement, a thoughtful, well-timed word or action from a trusted friend, or even just a child’s wondrous innocence.
These moments of hope inspire us to be better human beings – and remind us that a just, sustainable, and prosperous future on this Earth is well worth fighting for.

"Beauty in the Valley is meant to highlight the moments of hope that can be found in the deepest valleys of life that people normally view as tough. But, when you look for it, there is always beauty found in the darkest places."
